QF 744 at AA Hangar 5

I was over at DWH (AA speak for Hangar 5, the old DL facility on the east side) yesterday for an audit and guess who was parked on the ramp? Our old friend Hervey Bay (VH-OEH). Anyone know what the hell that's about? AA guys said it had only been there a day or so, which means it's not likely an icepocalypse casualty.

The Qantas Source site mentions a technical issue, however that was on December 7. It does say it returned from Dallas on the 13th. But that doesn't square with you being told it was there just a day or so. So, I'm out of ideas.

I heard they ingested ice into 2 of the engines and had to replace them, or at least the blades.
