American to launch DFW - El Salvador

American Airlines is getting set to launch a new flight from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport to San Salvador, El Salvador, that could threaten a competing route to the Central American city.

The 2-hour and 20-minute flight, which starts April 7, will go up against the airport’s only other flight to San Salvador, operated by Grupo Taca.

That is a neat route. Does anybody know what type they will use for that flight? I am guessing a 757.
