that was unexpected. I was thinking EI or IB will blink first and cross the pond to DFW but hey, welcome back AF. I hope this goes year round. And is Planes4You a member here? He broke the rumor at A.net and those all-knowing and mean farts brushed him off. Props to him for sticking it out .

Wouldn't be IB.

They are owned by IAG which owns British Airways, so they are already part of the transatlantic venture between BA and AA. And AA already flies to Madrid from here. Can't see IB competing wth that.

That might make sense. Between AA and I'B, they fly to all of the other American hubs except Phoenix from Barcelona.

Yeah, they were giving the guy a hard time. A.net has really become a hostile place recent years, one reason I just scan the site for any useful information and leave.

I was not expecting Aer Lingus in light of AA’s recent announcement of a DFW-DUB service, though I was shocked to see MSP being announced. I had heard whispers of AF returning to DFW, but did not put a lot of stock into those rumors, perhaps I should have.

I remember a few years back when CX was almost certain in starting HKG-DFW, but then AA started the route. Then when EI joined IAG (but not OW yet) I was hoping they would start DUB-DFW, even seasonal. Of course AA is starting that route also. So there goes it
