TSA Finds Over 1,300 Guns in Carry-On Bags in Texas in 2022
TSA found a record 6,542 guns in carry-on bags in 2022, including 1,341 at Texas airports. 20.5 percent of all guns TSA screeners caught at airport checkpoints were in Texas. DFW was second in the U.S. with 385 guns caught, another record for the airport and 5.9 percent of all guns caught by TSA last year. Dallas Love Field saw 127 guns found by TSA in 2022.
