Qantas A380 Missed approch

Did anyone catch Qantas A380 go missed approach on Sunday 7-26-15 ? Watching from Founders Plaza, what an awesome site to see. I did not see any planes or vehicles on the runway. The only airplane in view was an American 757 waiting to take the runway. 18R was the active runway for landings and takeoffs. Just wondering if anyone has any scoop on why.
