data to its blog. Typically added about once a month, TSA shows how many guns were caught at each airport in the U.S. at the screening checkpoint - when passengers attempt to bring them through the security checkpoint, into the sterile area and onto an airplane. We will add these totals and keep a running tally here.
From January 1 - April 22, 2020, TSA found 886 guns in carry-on bags.
